The Highfield Level 4 Award in Understanding the External Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (RQF) qualification is a knowledge based qualification and therefore Centres who have the necessary experience of external quality assurance within an Awarding Organisation setting may request approval to deliver this qualification.
The Highfield Level 4 Award in the External Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (RQF) and the Highfield Level 4 Certificate in Leading the External Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (RQF) assess practical competence of External Quality Assurance, therefore both of these qualifications are only available to learners who work as External Quality Assurance staff with Highfield Qualifications.

Level 4 Award in Learning and Development (RQF) Qualification Purpose
Level 4 is ideal if you are working at a senior or managerial level in learning and development and have a great deal of professional experience.
These qualifications develop learners’ knowledge, understanding and skills as required to work in learning and development. The award provides an introduction which is extended and consolidated in the certificate. The qualifications provide an opportunity for learners’ competence to be confirmed.
Entry Requirements
There are no specific entry requirements however learners should have a minimum of level two in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.
The qualification is suitable for learners of 18 years of age and above.
Total Qualification Time
This is an estimate of the total length of time it is expected that a learner will typically take to achieve and demonstrate the level of attainment necessary for the award of the qualification i.e. to achieve all learning outcomes.
Total Qualification Time is comprised of GLH and an estimate of the number of hours a learner is likely to spend in preparation, study or any other learning including assessment, which takes place as directed by, but not under the supervision of a lecturer, supervisor or tutor. The credit value, where given, for a qualification is determined by TQT, as one credit corresponds to 10 hours of learning.
Level 3 NVQ certificate in advice and guidance
Level 3 NVQ Certificate in Advice and Guidance (RQF) provides learners with the skills, knowledge and understanding to work in advice and guidance. The mandatory units cover communicating with clients, legislation and procedures, supporting clients to use the advice and guidance service and reviewing their own contribution to the service. There is also a range of optional units which allow the learner to develop their skills in a range of areas chosen to suit their personal development and the needs of their job role.
Entry Requirements
There are no specific entry requirements however learners should have a minimum of Level two in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.
The qualification is suitable for learners of 16 years of age and above.
Total Qualification Time

Level 4 NVQ diploma in advice and guidance
Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Advice and Guidance provides learners with the skills, knowledge and understanding to work in advice and guidance.
